Ground floor
The administrative offices are on the main floor of the building. You will also find the reception, the waiting room and the conference room.
2nd floor
There are 2 classrooms that can hold 8 to 12 people. These classrooms are linked to our real-life scenario room, replica of a typical examination room that is found in the clinics. All the nurses that follow the 140 hour training in the expanded role must each complete 2 real-life scenarios during their training. On these occasions, they must evaluate a fictitious patient following the systematic approach taught. Being alone with the patient in the examination room, the other nurses can, thanks to our audiovisual system, follow everything on a big screen.
Kitchenette
We have, at the disposal of the nurses following the training, a kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator, microware, coffee machine, kettle, toaster oven. We also have a water dispenser. Glass cups are lent with an environmentally-friendly purpose.
Parking
Our parking can accommodate 8 cars during the summer and 10 during the winter. There is no problem to park on the street but you must watch for the municipal by-laws. The parking is free, even on the street.
Photocopy center
The nurses following the training can use, at no cost, the fax and photocopy machines if it is related to the training or work.
Computer
A Wi-Fi connexion is available. This service is free. The computers in the classrooms are only to be used for the training.
Phone
There is also a phone at the disposal of the nurses that they can use during their breaks and lunch hours. They can make long distance calls only if it is related to the training or work (ex. No charge to call Kuujjuaq).
